Product Review: P-Line

Whether you are a tournament angler or a weekend warrior, you have probably tried numerous fishing lines to find the best and most affordable ones on the market.  I know that I have.  Last year, while on a two-day tournament at Apache, I noticed a good friend of mine spooling up with P-Line.  I began to ask him questions about his choice line that appeared to be on every one of his reels.  After our visit, I decided to give it a try, and my reels have been spooled with P-Line ever since.

P-Lines copolymer based technology delivers a thin diameter line that is extremely strong.  Though strong, the line remains fairly soft.  Most of your stronger lines are stiff, which reduces castability.  P-Line is a high strength, abrasion resistant line that gives you pretty good castability.  What else do you need?   If I were to recommend one particular series of P-Line for most applications, it would be the CXX X-tra Strong in moss green.  This particular line is great for any tournament or recreational angler.  Compared to other premium lines on the market, P-Line is also very affordable.  A 300 yard filler spool runs from 8-$12.00 depending on line size, and P-Line is also available in ¼ lb. and bulk spools.  You can find P-Line at most of your local tackle shops, or for a closer look into the product visit www.p-line.com.
